This prestigious award is presented annually at the GS1 Global Forum to ten exceptional employees from across the GS1 organization worldwide. The selection process involves choosing winners from among the 114 countries where GS1 has a presence.
Mr. Garg's influence also reached regulatory compliance, where he was instrumental in the implementation of DGFT requirements and the DAVA portal (now iVEDA) reporting requirements. Conducting workshops for pharmaceutical companies and solution providers, he actively participated in industry forums to raise awareness about domestic and export regulations.
Before his tenure with GS1 India, Mr. Amrit Garg accumulated over seven years of experience in various responsibilities within the services sector, working with prominent organizations such as Bharti Airtel, Max New York Life, and Apollo Munich.
A Computer graduate from Indraprastha University, Delhi, Mr. Garg furthered his education with an Executive Masters in Business Administration (Dual-Operations & Marketing) from the Institute of Management Technology.
